@daringfireball pretty graphics but there’s just something off-putting with glass moving and animating, it’s the opposite of skeuomorphic. Glass doesn’t shift shape in room temperature. Not sure what UX purpose this serves beyond cool looks, if any.

@daringfireball reacted to your use of the word factoid which I’ve learned to mean ”unreliable information widely accepted as truth”.
Just now learning: ”A factoid is either a false statement presented as a fact, or a true but brief or trivial item of news or information.”
What a terrible fate of a word, to mean both true and false, seemingly only depending on brevity. That’s a dangerous word if I ever saw one 🙂

@atpfm perhaps it’s a related to my card expiring and the feed perhaps downloads the edited show and doesn’t replace it even when credit card has been updated. Also: adding info about expiring subscription in the rss feed is really clever, nice work!
