I'm, at NYCC this weekend at Artist Alley Booth I-01, at the front of Artist Alley!

A recent commission, watercolor with ink and shell gold. The commissioner wanted me to dream up a ā€œsandman Universeā€ version of Poison Ivy, so I imagined her as a fairy tale like denizen of Queen Titaniaā€™s court!

The Comic Arts Festival of Eugene was great! I was super happy to learn that David Walker is a Wolverine and Cyclops shipper. And Chris Roethle's Comics and Poetry Workshop was so much fun! I hope it becomes an annual thing!

I reread All-Star Superman for a local ā€œbooks with palsā€ event and I am struck by just how much Gunn really did use it as a template in ways I wasnā€™t thinking about when I first heard that. This is the panel that stuck out most in my reread. Such a pertinent message for the times we are inā€¦
