A police-only approach will not reduce violence. We need more: investment in interventions & in community to address material circumstances.

This LinkedIn post claiming the cops who killed Tyre Nichols were "affirmative action hires" is all over right-wing social media. The author says he's a "police chief" . . . but from where?
Looks like he's the "chief" of a 1-man police department, for a town of 700 people.
