Apple got fined $2B for its illegal pre-DMA conduct on this issue, and still thinks it can withhold 'following the law’ until you sign up for an entitlement, a 27% Apple tax, and give Apple audit rights to your company. Which is all completely illegal under the DMA.
lol
The fines can't come quick enough or heavy enough.

"Today, developers compete on a level playing field on the App Store”
"It takes continuous effort and a lot of investment for Apple to make the tools, the technology, and the marketplace that Spotify uses every day. We’ve even flown our engineers to Stockholm to help Spotify’s teams in person."
…is that service part of my TSI, or…?
Apple [https://developer.apple.com/support/ipv6/]:
> As of June 1, 2016, all apps submitted to the App Store must support IPv6-only networks.
Also Apple:
% host -t AAAA gdmf.v.aaplimg.com
gdmf.v.aaplimg.com has no AAAA record
% host -t AAAA gs.apple.com.v.aaplimg.com
gs.apple.com.v.aaplimg.com has no AAAA record
% host -t AAAA ma-albert-prod.apple.com
ma-albert-prod.apple.com has no AAAA record
(In other words, you literally can't activate an Apple device on an IPv6-only network - and you can't get OS updates either.)
So say visionOS launches without the ability to download ‘key’ apps like Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, Google Docs, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Ivory, etc, how excited would you still be for the platform?
iPad was bootstrapped off of iPhone's success, and there was no meaningful opt-out for apps so basically everything ran on day one, and there was a strong incentive for devs to port to native. Giving a checkbox to opt out of visionOS, though, I feel is going to prove to be a huge mistake
Pro tip: Don't use Screen Sharing in macOS Sonoma 14.2.
It shares random windows in other Spaces with whoever is on the other end of the line. If you think your desktop is completely empty, it isn’t.
As you can see below, this could range from embarrassment to leaking private data.
I reported this about a month ago (FB13398611) and can't believed it shipped. Same with the window manager bug in 14.1. I liked macOS better when point releases weren’t full of breaking changes without workarounds.
