You’re not taking care of your boots then, leather is skin and needs care. I have a pair of boots in my closet that lasted ten years, until I made a mistake and ruined them. I’m not ready to let them go yet.
I wore a pair of Double-H boots for ten years. So broken in they were like heavy leather slippers. Eventually the toe collapsed during a road trip on my motorcycle shifting gears. I was melting wax into the leather to reharden it but got overzealous with the heat and shrank the leather. I hope to find a cobler or leathersmith that can repair it. Double-H no longer make that style harness boot, not in brown anyways.
I saw some interview and the creator of Andor was a history student, or they referenced history for the writing. Basically they just followed fascism 101 for the plot design.
That’s how I took it. Underlined by the reminder in the last paragraph that Trump is trying to end birthright citizenship.
Plutocracy
Mesopotamia isn’t in Iran, but I understand your point.

You’re both right, but seems like you’re both just trying to prove the other wrong. Keep protesting, keep showing up, but imagine how much more effective it would be if those protesters were armed. Openly armed. You don’t even need to bring ammo, just make it clear that the left - that most Americans can fight too.

We’re probably not voting our way out of this, we’ll just vote it back into the shadows. ICE has been around for decades, surveillance state for decades, broken police system for centuries (?), liberal/neoliberal economy for decades, our government more and more a plutocracy for decades which has held the monopoly on violence.

Solutions via option A or B would be great, but the threat of option C must be on the table. If you’re holding a gun and I’m holding a sign, then we aren’t negotiating on equal footing.

Yeah, you’re not wrong.
He was, but he also did it with some senate oversight and approval. Not saying the bombings were right but it was at least more right.

Underneath the compound, Zuckerberg added 7,000 square feet of space described as “basements,” which to area residents are more akin to “bunkers” or a “billionaire’s bat cave.” Zuckerberg similarly added a 5,000-square-foot underground structure to his compound in Hawaii, which he insists is not a “doomsday bunker.”

We don’t need to build guillotines this time. They’re digging their own graves. Bury them and starve them in their tombs.
