Has Jeroba not been working really for anyone else? - Lemmy.world

Idk if it’s just me, but I don’t see anything about it being down. It seems quite unstable for me Just to name a few things: - doesn’t keep me logged in - home page view isn’t loading (default set to top week subscribed) but All loads. In general, a lot of content isn’t loading, or updated, for example there’s some posts I created in reddit archive community but the posts aren’t showing up in my posts I do have the most recent version. I’m on an OP8T using Nameless13 if it matters. I’m also on data but it’s same on wifi I end up just browsing Lemmy via browser instead. Anyone experience stability issues like this or is it just normal as an app is being developed?

Where would the appropriate place be in Lemmy to move [game] guides from reddit?

Where would the appropriate place be in Lemmy to move [game] guides from reddit? - Lemmy.world

With the migration, a lot of niche communities haven’t fully migrated over, if at all. For example, I wrote a few guides for the games Control, Vindictus, and Outriders (usually for like farming tips, bug fixes, etc). They helped a ton of people, but I haven’t updated them so I’m not 100% sure if they’re still up to date and noted someone could take over What is the correct move? Should I just be transferring them to google docs, link that in the reddit post after removing its content, and then also redirect the user to the fediverse? I thought the move was to post the guide on Lemmy and link the new guide there, in the old reddit post, with more information about the fediverse I have evidently assumed wrong because 4/5 of my guides have been deleted from c/gaming. I spent a lot of time re-writing them for Lemmy format, which is now probably lost, and thought that was acceptable; I also looked through the rules first. Like I understand in normal circumstances, for example on reddit, I shouldn’t post a guide for Control in r/gaming, but I don’t know where else to put them in the fediverse since those game-specific communities don’t exist yet Thanks for any clarification on this. I want them to still be available to help people and then bring them here, so that I can go rewrite all my reddit comments and eventually delete the account

[Old Guide] Control | Executive Affairs secret location tips - Lemmy.world

I have not spent much time making the format nice and pretty, just legible. If anyone is interested in updating this or fixing it, please feel free to reach out to me via email from the doc, comment here with info, or reach me on Lemmy @Jaluvshuskies I do not know if this guide is still accurate, or if it has been patched / changed Originally written 12/24/2020 ______________________ Referencing the secret location on top of the long white & gold pillar in Executive / Executive Affairs I want to help anyone else out and prevent them from experiencing the same frustration I suggest not bother wasting your time trying to stack vending machines. It was so aggravating, I swear I almost burst a blood vessel for spending nearly 30 mins repeatedly failing. You have 3 to work with + the yellow fridge seems to only go sideways, and the 4th vending machine by the director’s office despawns as soon as you enter the room with the pillar. And we know that we can’t upward ground smash (slam up) anymore (or just install the mod) I spent a good amount of time failing to jump off the floating bodies. Then I found out why: It took me a while to scavenge for someone to specify this, but it appears that ***the bodies have to be facing upwards to be able to jump off them. ***If they’re facing down, I went to the control point in Central Executive and just reloaded the same spawn. It doesn’t seem to work off the back of their head or back. If they aren’t respawning for some reason try fast traveling to a different location, then back, and if still nothing, then restart game In terms of controls, I jumped from the speaker so that I was floating slightly above them, positioned myself, tapped space to let go, then float up at the right timing. Some players float up by holding space, but I personally double tap because that feels more natural. I tried both ways and both work. If anyone wanted to see both ways: - Here I’m doing it with my controls - space 2x to float up [https://youtu.be/PtClZJl-C9Q] - Here I’m doing it with other controls - hold space to float up [https://youtu.be/vDU6R4NZpiU] Here’s a screenshot [https://imgur.com/a/EwUmMyR] of comments by a user with a different experience that worked for them:

[Old Guide] Control | Obtain 3 collectibles after beating the game due to cutscene bug - Lemmy.world

AUTHOR NOTE: This guide has been moved over from Reddit -> google docs [https://docs.google.com/document/d/13Ph_v_iwxNdrond_u_mTBQmVCSlTFnI8djO2FYh4YhE/edit?usp=sharing] & Lemmy. I have not spent much time making the format nice and pretty, just legible. If anyone is interested in updating this or fixing it, please feel free to reach out to me via email here, comment here with info, or reach me on Lemmy @Jaluvshuskies Also, I have no idea why I can’t get numbering or bullets to have a space before, rather than after I do not know if this guide is still accurate, or if it has been patched / changed Originally written 01/02/2021 ______________________ Hi there, I found a few reddit threads referencing this bug, which is currently still in effect. It appears that if you skip the end cutscene, or possibly even alt tab, it bugs and doesn’t give you the 3 collectibles that you should I have received. I am under the impression that even if you replay the final mission,Take Control, it resets any progress after the game, including collectibles. Personally, I went to collect almost everything else after beating the game, so I didn’t want to risk testing that. (If anyone has tested information about this - that would be great!) The 3 collectibles affected by this are: 1. Research & Records > Reports > “Director Faden Photograph” 2. Hotline > Trench > “Endless Grind” 3. Hotline > Board > “The Future” Anyway, so there is a way via Nexus Mods, to edit in these 3 collectibles into your save game. I just went through this process myself, and I’m happy to report that it was successful! The mod is Control Save Editor [https://www.nexusmods.com/control/mods/26?tab=description&BH=7] by reg2k / registrator2000, who I also give credit to these instructions. This probably looks like a huge hassle, but I promise it’s not as tedious as it seems, you just have to read these steps carefully and not rush ## Instructions to add 3 collectibles to your game (Make sure to have your game closed. I advise to be organized so you’re less likely to make a mistake) 1. Locate your savegame file Filepath: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\YOURSTEAMID\870780\remote Your steam ID should be in the address bar of your steam profile, and the visibility of this can be enabled/disabled in settings (steam > settings > interface > display steam URL address bar when available). If you have a custom steam username, it’s a hassle to find, so what I did was just go through the folders in steam\userdata until I found folder 870780\remote\lots of save files. Feel free to DM me if you have trouble & I can try to help 2. Backup your savegame file Filename: savegame-slot-00_persistent Here’s [https://imgur.com/a/HUvYOmp] how I organized my backup 3. Open the save editor located here [https://reg2k.github.io/control-save-editor-beta/] Make sure that “save changes” button is greyed out (which indicate no changes were made) 4. Open javascript console in your browser, then click the Console tab I confirmed that Opera works. I believe the author used Chrome so that should work (Ctrl+ShiftJ). For Firefox, use the Web console tab. You might have to look up your browser’s shortcuts 5. Copy paste this below script into the javascript console section (let me know if this formatting doesn’t work) // Director Faden Photograph, Hotline: Endless Grind, Hotline: The Future let IDS_TO_ADD = new BigUint64Array([0x13ea58eaa99a003fn, 0x3a719bb303af803fn, 0xf15e6d26615803fn]) let obj = saveData.data.playerPropertiesChunk.ktValue.data.foundNarrativeObjects let getAddr = ([ktParent, name, prop]) => ktParent._debug[name].ioOffset + ktParent._debug[name][prop] let [lenStart, arrEnd] = [[obj, 'numItems', 'start'], [obj, 'gid', 'end']].map(getAddr) new DataView(saveData.getBuffer()).setUint32(lenStart, obj.numItems + IDS_TO_ADD.length, true) saveData.regionManager.addRegion(arrEnd, new Uint8Array(IDS_TO_ADD.buffer)) 6. After you paste that, hit Enter to run the script 7. Click Save Changes in the Control Save Editor, to download the modified savegame Make sure the file is named as: savegame-slot-00_persistent then put in a location you’ll remember 8. Replace your current savegame file with this new modified savegame file 9. Open your game and see if it worked Make sure it doesn’t crash, then check for the 3 collectibles. If they aren’t there, revert the changes, and then start over slowly. If you have any unique or niche questions or issues, I recommend posting in the nexus mods posts tab. My guess is you copied / typed something wrong, or accidentally changed something you weren’t supposed to

This has became one of my favorite games of all time. As of 109.2 hours on PC-Steam, I have obtained all collectibles and steam achievements! I wish the best experience for others, so I thought that I would throw together a list of useful things I learned, that I wish I knew sooner! COLLECTIBLES CHECKLIST FROM CONTROL SUBREDDIT WIKI: [https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=1A6851C4985E284B%212611&ithint=file%2Cxlsx&authkey=%21AM59Rx5kAHV2dpo] Specific Tips: 1. Launch skill, especially multi-launch, is amazing for damage, taking care of shields, and flinching. Launch > shoot > repeat is usually an easy strategy for difficult enemies or bosses. Some might even prioritize that over health and energy, but I personally leveled these 3 up pretty evenly. It’s also really good to use as a panic 2. Seize skill is also very useful especially when fighting bosses, mini bosses, or heavy spawns. Don’t underestimate it’s usefulness! It takes the aggro off you and gives you some breather. Bonus if you seize something that heals you or heavy enemies. TIP: You can seize those annoying healing orbs! 3. Get the unique weapon mods. For example: Eternal Fire for Grip, and Custodial Readiness for Pierce, are extremely nice and borderline essential. You can look up where these drop, but I think they’re mostly from side quests. I don’t know if there’s one for surge, but the rest I’ve found are Thin Space for Charge, One-Way Track for Shatter, and Spam Mail for Spin. 4. Low on health and having trouble healing? It’s pretty cheesy, but run back to the nearest CP for full health. Remember it only pauses the game if you select one of the options in the CP. Refer to Nexus Mods section #2 tip for an extra step. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize I can just heal from the CP 5. Have trouble with bosses? ~~Look through this subreddit for advice or ways to cheese the boss. I would’ve saved myself a lot of frustration if I had checked here sooner for tips. Some of these bosses can REALLY be cheesed. ~~See section below for boss cheeses :) 6. IMO Don't worry about crafting Astral Construct Mods until late game. It’s quite expensive to upgrade constructs level, especially with source. The CAT(2) and CAT(3) materials have even been hard to farm post-game because of spawns, so those materials are ideally better to farm before beating the game. In my experience, farming VI mods from countermeasures is more efficient than via astral constructs, just due to the “rare” materials 7. You can eventually get all skill points! I believe hidden areas give 1-2, and of course do lots of quests. But mainly, don’t worry too much about what you should pick in your skill tree because you can get them all. My personal priority (roughly) was launch/energy/health > levitation > shield > seize. I didn’t know how useful seize was unti late game, so I would’ve probably done that after levitation. I had my full tree unlocked + 3 spare, with 93 hours and 2-4 steam achievements left. ______________________ # LEVEL 6 MODS FARM (foundation warehouse) Image Reference [https://imgur.com/a/kJKBdt6] - This is the “Warehouse” Control Point (CP) in the foundation >Color Labels: >Green - Common entrance to the area >White - Steps; also reference to how you “force spawn” >Yellow - Roughly where the CP spawn is >Red - Where the enemies will spawn Clip Reference [https://youtu.be/42JtcmQJifE] Process: >Essentially, all you do in this farm is dash back & forth, trying to force spawn the enemies. For whatever reason, there’s an invisible wall of some sort, which is roughly where the white line is. So the general process is: Spawn at the CP, kill enemies, go back to the wall, and dash in and out of it (doesn’t have to be a tight distance, in fact I ended up doing a larger distance), kill new enemies that spawned, repeat. Sometimes I had to go through the tunnel (going away from the open room) to where the (I think) ranger spawn/caller is, and then go back ______________________ # BOSS TIPS Story bosses tactics / cheese methods (note: these methods may decrease fun but relieve frustration) Salvador (main story) - Take cover, launch, shoot, repeat. Launch to break shield, then shoot / snipe. Sieze-ing enemies helps Hiss-corrupted Tomassi (side?) - Use cover, shoot / snipe from a distance. Be wary of enemies spawning around you, you can kill them for health. Mr. Tommasi (final / side mission) - Cheese: Fight him from up top. To get there, head to the right, jump on the rack / shelves, then jump up top. He shouldn’t really attack you up there but he could get close. Kill enemies he spawns right away. Snipe with pierce, launch 1 then launch 2nd object should hit & stun. Location [https://imgur.com/a/mSQzZvv] Anchor (side mission - the enemy within) - If you go to the east platform first, it won’t register hits. Wait until it goes to the south platform (starting). Throw objects at it when it opens. Throwing a clock at it will speed up the fight. Move across with it & repeat. Use charge to take out normal enemies, pierce to take out flying - Cheese: Find the lower ledge (look down from the west platform) and launch objects when it faces you (twice per round). Repeat until dead. Be cautious of flying Hiss Charged. Levitate up to the platform if you need health. Location [https://imgur.com/a/soYijwC] - sorry, lost the video Former (side mission - fridge duty) - Launch its ball back at it, or other objects. Be careful when it melees the ground, not to fall in that hole. Be mobile, & levitation helps. Dodge before it melees. Can shoot the orbs he throws at you esseJ (side mission - self reflection) - Cheese: Find the L stairs that you came up from. Hide around the corner, peek out to launch / shoot. esseJ won’t go down the stairway to you. Remember launch is a nice stagger, following with shooting. Can grab her rockets and launch them back at her. Location [https://imgur.com/a/AluDDqs] Mold-1 (old growth | DLC) - Dodge, use levitation. Take advantage of the rock as cover. Launch damage is OP. Don’t be on the ground too much bc of toxins Hartman (DLC) - You’ll fight him many times; he runs away at the end of each until end of the game - Final fight tips: Stay in light when you can, levitate in darkness. Energy only regens in the light. Once lights are on, all you have to do is stay aggressive, keep flinching him with launch so he doesn’t turn lights back off. Launch, shoot, repeat. ”Jesse Faden starring in Swift Platform” mini-game / side mission (not a boss) - Use pierce / grip to take care of flying enemies. Charge for ground enemies - There’s 1 part where you have to levitate over and back to avoid crashing - Jump / avoid earlier than you think - When the first heavy gunner “mini boss” spawns, stay mobile / use shield for a few moments until he gets smacked by the wall. Don’t need to kill him - When the actual boss spawns, use shield strength, health, and energy. Pull up shield when he attacks, shoot, repeat until dead ______________________ # OTHER TIPS 1. What is “swift platform”? - It’s a unique side quest “mini-game” to cleanse an Altered Item that’s available after reaching the Transit Access in the Collapsed Department. After you complete it, you get to cleanse the Movie Camera Altered Item , Case Files: Movie Camera Procedures, and 3 skill points - To get to it: Foundation > Transit Access CP. Then head up the stairs, through the door, climb on the boxes to get on top of the walkway, levitate west towards & through the glass, down the stairs & to the right into Transit Access, go into the elevator on the left, then head out and left to the glowing platform - Sorry, I lost video directions :( Once you hop on the glowing platform at the end, you can interact with it to start. Unfortunately I don’t know of any way to repeat it for fun. Hope that helps! 2. Spawn rate is much better BEFORE beating the game 3. Farming “source” - Foundation > Warehouse farm (that was the level 6 mods farm) - Expeditions 4. Farming Tier VI mods - Board countermeasures, hands down. You can accept & abandon infinitely until you get the ones you want. It feels most efficient to complete these at the warehouse farm due to spawns. I like to avoid Hiss Disrupted & Sniper countermeasures, the enemies are too rare. Otherwise at endgame, you can make your own in Astral Constructs 5. Farming any materials (intrusive pattern, remote thought, etc) - Check menu > assets, shows drop locations - Ex: “Remote Thought CAT(1)” = containment, comes from containment sector. Cat1 = basic enemies, cat2 = named & bosses, cat3 = special drop (only alerts or quests?) - When farming, spawn at location, kill all enemies BUT 1, quit to menu, repeat; or walk in/out room a few times 6. Farming other items - Undefined reading (1) & house memory (2): executive > mail room - Ritual impulse (1) & threshold remnant (2): maintenance > black rock quarry - Intrusive pattern (1) & astral blip (2): research > ritual division > synchronicity lab - Remote thought (1) & entropic echo (2): containment > transit corridor > containment chamber a2 - Corrupted sample (3) & astral blip (2): research > active threshold > jump down hole - Hidden trend (3): bureau alerts & named enemies - Untapped potential: mission rewards 7. Recommended unique / helpful mods - Health recovery on launch hit: farm foundation enemies - Eternal fire (grip): 100% more ammo refund chance on hit - Thin space (charge): +500% projectile speed - Custodial readiness (pierce): -100% shot charge time - One-way track (shatter): -100% projectile spread - Launch energy cost - Energy regen - Health & health recovery per element pick-up - Sieze speed (good for bosses/endgame) - Shield strength (good for bosses/endgame) ______________________ # MY EXPEDITION RECOMMENDATION (and order) - 3rd island: 3 dead bodies - Find 3 dead bodies (listen for beep). Recover log from each. Lead hiss on goose chase, don’t waste time killing - 2nd island: Hiss waves - Focus on lowering health & SEIZE. Know spawn locations, pause between rounds for healing, and there’s a mini boss at the end; to cheese, ground pound - 1st island: Capture Plates - Capture plates 3x. Start at top, work toward bottom. Don’t waste time killing, don’t need to kill all enemies from each wave, and seize helps - 4th island: Furnace Cubes - Locations are randomized. Throw them into fire, move quick to avoid enemies, and don’t waste time killing - Boss - Stand on top of the light pole near cliffs (between 2 middle stages). Use charge to reveal, then snipe. Shield when it drops invis & blasts. Smaller distorted hiss can also spawn ______________________ # JESSE FADEN STARRING “SWIFT PLATFORM” - DON’T DODGE unless you know your position. Throw up shield instead. You might accidentally dodge off the platform - There’s 1 part where you have to levitate over and back to avoid a wall; there’s not a 2nd platform to jump over to - Don’t wait til the last minute to dodge / jump over an obstacle, I promise you have time! - Deal with the flying enemies with Pierce or Grip. Don’t let them get too close, launch if they do. Don’t forget shield - Dealing with ground enemies with Charge was easiest and quickest for me if they’re in a group. Don’t forget shield - For the first “mini boss”, a heavy gunner with a shield, just keep moving / levitating and throw up your shield if you need to. Wait him out, and after a few moments, a wall will smash and kill him - For the final “boss”, stay calm. Be careful about if / where you dodge, levitate if you must. When he’s about to range attack you (2 hits?), throw up your shield, then shoot (I used pierce to snipe), repeat. IMO it’s actually very easy but just take it easy and slow. When he spawns ground enemies on the other platform, don’t panic, keep your shield up until you have a window, shoot Charge at them to kill, and go back to the boss. That’s it! - Grip mods: eternal fire, dmg, dmg against armor(?) | Pierce mods: dmg, dmg while aiming, custodial readiness | Charge Mods: Thin Space, blast radius, ammo recov on wep hits (OP) | Personal mods: I think I used health, energy, and energy recovery speed? Then for the last boss I swapped out energy recov speed for shield strength

[Old Guide] Outriders | Armor Vendor Rotation Farm (green/blue/purple)

[Old Guide] Outriders | Armor Vendor Rotation Farm (green/blue/purple) - Lemmy.world

AUTHOR NOTE: This guide has been moved over from Reddit -> google docs [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Y9FDfOVYjk-6GKCDoh8rhes-WeeTw1rWKGFOByIXpac/edit?usp=sharing] & Lemmy here. I have not spent much time making the format nice and pretty, just legible. If anyone is interested in updating this or fixing it, please feel free to reach out to me via email here, comment here with info, or reach me on Lemmy @Jaluvshuskies I do not know if this guide is still accurate, or if it has been patched / changed Originally written 06/23/2021 ______________________ Hello, here is a quick guide on farming armor vendors to try to get those perfect stat rolls. I thought I would compile it here since this information I tried to find was somewhat scattered (unless I didn’t look hard enough). Since I’m at endgame with a build that uses only 1 legendary armor, my fastest & preferred way to find perfect stat armor pieces is from vendors. >I also sometimes do the Hunter-Haurus farm method, here’s a quick video on that for those curious (likely better guides out there, this was rushed & not optimized, but it’s the general concept). I consider the “better method” as subjective and situational, so try both. You can actually do both at once by doing vendor rotation, setting a timer, then go do Haurus hunt during the downtime until the timer is up For green/blue/purple armor pieces, this is what I’ve found to be most optimal and have had the most success with personally. FYI the lower tier the better; on a green, you get 3 options to choose from for both upgrading to blue & purple. Also note that this is expected to be done by (relatively) endgame players because of resource cost to buy (scrap) and increase rarity (leather/titanium) The main resource that will drain is scrap. To get some easy, go to Sell tab at Tiago & sell Drop Pod Resources in exchange for scrap, the ratio is very very cheap (ex: ~11k drop pod gives ~900k scrap). If you run out of leather, you can buy with scrap from Bailey. If you run out of titanium, look up optimal farming guides, but could also buy from Bailey for scrap Video [https://youtu.be/luhwaAzZVXs] Vendors & locations: - NPC “Gregor Ram” - Rift Town (left of Eva) - 2x green of each piece (sometimes with blues) - NPC “Rough Pavlo” - Trench Town (tent behind spawn) - 3x blue of each piece - NPC “Mercer Acosta” - Forest Enclave (under tent, marked with !) - Video timestamp @ 1:33 - NPC “Tiago” - Travels with you - Purples - NPC “Bailey” - Travels with you - Tiago & Bailey travel with you only once you complete mainstory > Tiago resets every 1.5h. Bailey, Gregor, Rough, and Mercer all reset every 30m & are synced. I hope this is helpful! Please let me know if anything should be corrected or added.

[Discussion] What's your thoughts on AI generated search engines compared to other ways to find information? - Lemmy.world

Looking to hear your guys’ thoughts on this, and hopefully share points in a more sophisticated manner than I can describe. (also, I hope this is an appropriate place to post?) I have ran into this discussion a few times across the fediverse, but I can’t for the life of my find those threads and comments lol I believe that a non-corporate owned platform with user-generated information is most optimal, like wikipedia. I don’t know the technicalities, but I feel like AI can’t replace answers from human experiences - humans who are enthusiasts and care about helping each other and not making money I don’t know much about this topic, but I’m curious if you guys have actual real answers! Thread-based services like this and stack overflow (?) vs chatgpt vs bing vs google, etc.

[Old Guide] Vindictus Returning Player Information Breakdown - Lemmy.world

Hello! The Vindictus subreddit hasn’t migrated over yet, and isn’t listed in sub.rehab. They have an official discord, but I thought if anything, it could be helpful to reference it here as well - with intent to spread more awareness about Lemmy / Fediverse In June 2021, I wrote a massive returning player breakdown guide for the MMO, Vindictus. Sadly, I retired (for good) in Jan 2022, so I was not able or willing to maintain the guide. I mentioned this in the discord, but got no bites. It’s a pretty small community, but the ones still there are pretty active afaik So, since it’s outdated but still useful in some ways, I decided to throw it in google docs so that I can eventually transfer ownership, and then they could possibly update & post it in the best location for their community (which I hope won’t be reddit, but might stay with google docs) Anyway, here is the guide in view-only [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TYxUA1OsUVciOXq3kX91jmn-iWrBPlGFY94FmqqpQyw/edit?usp=sharing]. I will post in the official discord about this and bulk-rewrite all my comments once all my useful posts/comments are migrated. Let me know if you guys think I should do anything else for this transfer :)

Streamio + RD users - what are you favorite add-ons? - Lemmy.world

I’ve been watching Superman & Lois which is recently currently airing, but I’m a few episodes behind and can’t seem to find a good source for new episodes. The last 3 episodes I see as released on June 14, 21, and 28 (upcoming) so I assume that I should see streams for the first two - or is this normal? I don’t watch anime; the addons I have installed are: - Cinemata - WatchHub (might not need?) - Public Domain Movies - OpenSubtitles - Local Files (without catalog support) - Torrentio - CineTorrent - Cinestream by dexter21767 - Torrent Catalogs - KOLKOL by dexter21767 In addition to my question about if there’s other addons that would more likely have streams for new TV shows, what are your guys favorite addons?

Just got GMMK Pro 75% board and GMMK numpad - help with issues, potentially wanting alternatives - Lemmy.world

PSA this is my first custom keyboard, so I am a newbie. I have a friend who helped me, but I am looking for advice and discussion from you guys. I got the barebones edition and stuck on my own silent switches (durock dolphin silent linear [https://keeb.io/products/durock-dolphin-silent-linear-switches?variant=39926518513758]) and keycaps. GMMK Pro [https://www.gloriousgaming.com/products/glorious-gmmk-pro-75-barebone-black] and GMMK Numpad [https://www.gloriousgaming.com/products/gmmk-numpad] I’m already having issues and it hasn’t even been 3 days. I want a keyboard that actually works well and doesn’t have any restrictions. I like I want minimal to zero problems or hassle So far: 1. FN key randomly sticks. Not the actual switch, but it stays on and I have to hold it to type. We found out that this was caused by unplugging it while the PC is on. This can consistently be fixed by factory resetting the keyboard, upon which I would have to re-apply the config every time. I don’t like the idea of having to shut down every time I want to unplug my keyboard (for maintenance or cleaning) 2. Glorious Core software is straight garbage and I basically can’t customize the knobs or slider as I expected. Turns out a lot of people are saying it’s garbage 3. The left stabilizer for the spacebar is slightly sticky. Enough to be noticeable, I might be able to forget about it or slightly fix, or maybe I’d reach out to support and they could send me a new one. But obviously I don’t want the hassle and this is pretty noticeable considering how often I use the spacebar, especially for games 4. I can’t get the numpad working via bluetooth. I found a thread where someone said plugging in their wifi antenna made it work instantly and I did that, but it doesn’t work instantly. More hassle to deal with ------------------------------------------------------------- So I have some questions for you guys and hopefully can arise a lot of discussion from experts. 1. Does anyone know a PERMANENT fix for all of these issues? (FN bug, better software, stabilizer fix, numpad fix) 2. Does anyone recommend a different board and numpad? If the answer to #2 is yes, here is my criteria (I know I’m picky): - 75% black heavy aluminum RGB ANSI layout, USBC - hot swap - south facing LEDs for both board and numpad - excellent build (good stabilizers, etc) - excellent software (for rgb, and if it comes with a knob) - ideally: RGB side lit - ideally: left aligned cable (rather than center) - ideally: wireless (reliable, and only if long battery; for either/both kb and numpad) - ideally: have a knob, maybe just on the numpad Thanks in advance for any help, and I’m sorry if this comes across as negative. I’m just very frustrated that shit just constantly has problems
