@rbreich Solutions? I would suggest that a day be set aside, say 7/4/23, in which no consumer, under any circumstance, use any digital transaction, plastic or otherwise. Just one day. Easy to prep for. This will get the attention of those that matter and the pop will see the control at our fingertips. This would, at least, be better than torches and pitchforks. It would change the global climate. Think about the ramifications.

@LGSpace We had young guests for the TG Day weekend. They liked to buy fast food often during the day (?) including frosty drinks. They complained loudly at their disspleasure with the new paper straws. We live on the SE coast of Florida where the havoc that plastic wreaks is obvious. A retired charter captain, I know the horror hidden just under the sunny surface of the waves. They are 30'somethings. It's fiction to them. 11/30/22

@georgetakei It's tough to know how to respond to your gallant effort. Im ashamed of my country's response toward its citizens during my fathers time. But I wasn't there. I did not experience the fear. I wish I could see your musical. Maybe gain some understanding. How would the Japanese have fared if they were not isolated? Even today I fear for the safety of my 2nd gen American Chinese wife. If China threatens, wil they take my wife? Wil she be assaulted on the road? Be brave.

@rbreich Freedom is a myth, a delusion propagated by those who would prey upon the gullible American consumer. It's what politicians sell in return for your vote. "vote for me and I'll set you free"! Mass shootings are a horror. But they are nothing compared to what the rest of the world endures. Your children are your responsibility, no one elses. Change your society or your society will change you.
