Extinction Rebellion NLGisteren stonden zo’n 350 bezorgde Nederlanders op de dijk in Holwerd om te demonstreren tegen gasboringen onder de Wadden- en Noordzee. XR Fryslân organiseerde de demonstratie samen met Milieudefensie en diverse andere partijen. Rebellen en demonstranten uit het hele land vormden op de dijk naast de beelden 'Wachten op hoog water' een lange sliert. Ook waren er zandzakken meegenomen om de dijk te verhogen want als Shell doorgaat met de gasboringen, zal dat nodig zijn om droge voeten te houden.
