Phone footage contradict Israel’s account in troops’ killing of Palestinian medics in Gaza
The Israeli military has backtracked on its account of the killing of 15 Palestinian medics by Israeli forces last month after phone video appeared to contradict its claims that their vehicles did not have emergency signals on. A military official acknowledged late Saturday that that account was “mistaken.” A video on the phone of one of the slain medics shows that their emergency vehicles had their lights and sirens flashing when they came under a barrage of gunfire from troops. Israel's military says it is investigating.
