Does anyone have any idea why I would get the error: "Compiling UFO failed: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'startswith'"

I'm using fontmake.

Still recovering. Man, this has been rough.
My brain has been so fried since my infection. I feel like my writing, which is already pretty bad, has been horrible.
Three medications and two antibiotics later and I'm still here! Lung capacity is still less than 100% and I get tired easier but I'm feeling much better.
I've been pretty quite on here over the last week because I've been dealing with Legionnaire's disease!

Regarding the discussion about getting away from Monotype: Remember, Proxima Nova is used by giant organizations all over the place and it was sold by a one-person shop.

You don't need to buy type from a large organization just because you represent a large organization.
