⚯ Michel de Cryptadamus ⚯Trump just ordered the DOJ to investigate Trump's own former head of the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (#CISA), Chris Krebs. Krebs's primary sin appears to have been making public statements that the 2024 election was the most secure in history because almost all votes were recorded on paper ballots.
Worth noting that since Nixon it has been an important norm that the president has no say in who does or doesn't get investigated by #DOJ and #FBI. I don't think its much of an exaggeration to describe attempting to purge your own former officials as at least mildly Stalinist - maybe "Stalinish" is the right word.

The “war plans” leak is designed to keep us focused on shit that will have no impact on our ability to resist. Ffs, why are we worried about leaking war plans when we have the Kremlin in charge of the Pentagon? What outcome do these people want? To fire Pete Hegseth? To be replaced with who?
