I snagged a prime spot on the corner of the plaza. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the Eureka Cultural Arts District (and its partners) for making it possible. We are slowly, but surely, building up a visible comics community here in Humboldt!

Just a reminder, I will be in Old Town Eureka, at the gazebo, talking about comics this Saturday, May 2nd! There will be books from 11 different creators on display and some free goodies for helping you learn more about local comics. Arts Alive runs from 6pm - 9pm.

Personally, I'm talking about indie comics at local events and showing people examples. I even had some fliers made to hand out talking about comics as a serious medium and suggestions for reading.
