CO high country is my happy place! โ™ฅ๏ธ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿ™Œโ›ฐ๏ธโ˜€๏ธ

Ventured out to Twin Lakes CO, and South Mt. Elbert trail did not disappoint with views galore! Treks through aspen groves, conifer forests and meadows had me ๐Ÿ˜.

Took me ~6 hours with almost 3k in elevation gain from around 9,500 ft to 12,400ft and 11 miles round trip.

Worth it! ๐Ÿซก

Checked off a bucket list item today and lived to tell about it. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Clear Creek was dishing class lll rapids and the fresh snow melt was ๐Ÿฅถ.

But it was the perfect blend of exhilarating and nerve-wracking. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

10/10 recommend ๐Ÿซก

MOAR Mexican food updates:

Iโ€™ve never seen such a big plate of Mexican food in my life. ๐Ÿ‘€

Mexican food in CO is legit. Iโ€™ve tried 3 different restaurants, and not only was the food delish, but the waitstaff called me amiga and seniorita every time they spoke to me. That *never* happens in Texas. ๐Ÿซก ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฏ๐Ÿซ”

Passing through Pueblo and stumbled upon TheSacredBean coffee shop for the shi-shi-est avocado artichoke feta micro greens toast Iโ€™ve ever had, paired with a foo-foo Cardamon Rosebud iced latte. ๐Ÿค

Well done, Pueblo. ๐Ÿซก
