I’m 21 with zero tech background. But I wanted a reddit replacement so bad that I somehow figured out how to use Lemmy lol.

I still don’t understand how it works and how to make my own community, but I’m happy just getting to comment and post. Being part of the birth of a new social media is also nice.

Honestly I’ve been addicted to reddit for several years, and it even had negative consequences for my life. When I was depressed I just used reddit all day and became obsessed with the subreddit moderated. I deleted that account and now I’m in a much better place but that constant urge to open reddit is still there.

Before July 1 my reddit usage was around 2 hours every day, now it’s been 0 for 5 days.

So I’d like to Thank Reddit admins for this.

I remember reading the manga ages ago, tho the quality dropped pretty heavily once they reached the village. Dropped it after that.
Sure, this community is super small, and there are zero alternatives yet, so you can build your own community. I’d prefer a place with actually active mods.
This particular community isn’t all that big either, so there no harm in ditching it and starting a brand new community with active mods.

Is there any possibility of introducing bots like AutoLovepon and Roboragi here?

They are very useful and autolovepon automatically creates discussion threads which I think will help keep the sub alive. Roboragi linkes the anime mentioned to MAL and other sites which is super neat and useful.

Boost was the sole way of using reddit. Now if I REALLY need to find something on reddit, I’ll do that on old reddit, on my PC.
I went to do that and saw that there already was a 2 star review from 6 years ago lol. Changed that to 1. 1

It's OVER 😭 Le reddit is gone
