I mean, if it’s the right person, in the right boot, at the right time. That could be a fun Friday night.
Gobbing the cops knobs, cops have qualified immunity, what’s the difference.
Yeah okay but saying we almost gave a degree to a dog isn’t much better that what city college is saying about us.
At least in that situation the Trans person/people could reasonably expect the business/establishment to be an ally. That’s assuming there is no law that says there has to be a Trans only bathroom, any place which installs one would probably only be doing that because they’re an ally or Trans themselves. Now what your describing happening to businesses/establishments which are supportive of Trans people I can totally see happening.
The weirdest thing is it didn’t seem to start out that way. I remember the first season actually having strong jokes. I specifically remember one about spherical chickens that was truely hilarious because it was a nerd joke on a prime time tv show. Then came season two, with it the show tried to become more relatable to the ‘average viewer’ and it was just bullying on TV.
A good quote that I don’t know who to atribute to but ‘I don’t wish death upon anyone, but there are obituaries that I’ll read with great enthusiasm.’
Did I just watch someone learn something… On the internet?!
Yeah it’s like they were going to give him a strong character arc by showing him growing up side by side with Harry Kim… But then the writers forgot to actually grow their characters. So they’re just children the whole time.
I’m glad the school system didn’t fail you.
…what world are you living in? You’re still expecting someone to save you. Someone in the government to swoop in and give the nasty Orange man his just deserts? There’s no one. No one is coming to save you. You’re all going to have to save yourselves and the longer you wait for someone else to get up for you the harder it will be to do. If you’re not actively involved in resisting the administrations plans in any way you’re consenting to it. Trying to make someone feel bad online doesn’t count.
