These numbers are staggering, but you also get numb to them. One billion doesn’t seem like that much when you look at the price of some military hardware or what’s spent on legitimate government programs, but it’s an insanely large amount of money.

It will be relevant to your lives when it increases the price of food and everything else. The transportation industry doesn’t have EVs, and they won’t absorb the costs. I’m sure you know this, but you’re not as isolated from this as you make it out to be.
