My thoughts on homemade pie: Let’s make the crust. Let’s make the filling. Let’s pre-cook the crust. Let’s pre-cook the filling. Let’s cook the crust and the filling together. Let’s let it cool for two hours. Let’s put it in the fridge for another two hours to set. Let’s finally cut it and find out something went wrong. Let’s pound our heads on the countertop because we’ve wasted a full day of our lives.

Just to be clear, these are not actual alien viruses and we don’t need any congressional hearings on them. Maybe focus on gun control or passing a budget instead?
