I am excited to be joining the Composing Earth program at the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music as an assistant mentor to the incomparable composer, Gabriela Lena Frank, next year. The Composing Earth program invites musicians to learn about and commissions them to write music about the climate emergency. It was an eye-opening and transformational experience for me, and it is a privilege to have this opportunity to continue to join it again and continue learning from my eco-conscious musician friends and colleagues.
