This neo-populist narrative is awful JFK was not especially anti-Israel. He expressed support for Israel multiple times. He was just against them having nuclear weapons, which, technically, is the official position of every U.S. president, as America officially opposes nuclear proliferation. He also I think vaguely supported a two-state solution, which again is the official position of the U.S. government. Let’s not forget: Eisenhower outright sided with the Soviet Union and Egypt during the Suez Crisis against Israel. Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford pressured Israel to withdraw from the Sinai. That withdrawal was completed under Jimmy Carter, though the negotiation process started under Nixon. Ronald Reagan placed an arms embargo on Israel to force their withdrawal from Lebanon. Even George H.W. Bush cut off their loan guarantees to stop settlement building in the West Bank.

So if your in the alt Internet sphere you might remmber Kiwi farms and the drop kiwi farms campaign to get it shut down, the argumetn being kiwi farms was linked to the sucidie of 3 people. Recently there was controverys after the suicide of Mikayla Raines, she was getting attentio nfrom a dedicated subreddit called saveafoxsnark which appears to be gone idk if it as deleted or banned but it’s gone. So I personally side with saveafoxsnark, however I am honestl enough to admit that I supported rop kiwi farms and do feel a bit hypocritical. I am honest enough to admit I am conflicted andpotentially wrong so I ask you When can a community be responsible for suicide and be sanctioned over it ?

The title says it all, I was very gun ho for Ukraine but I am now more jaded and think both sides are bad and that Ukraine needs to just give up territory and end the war. I also learned how this is a proxy war and Ukraine has made itself a willing pawn of the American empire, I am sorry you don’t get to join the imperial core and except sympathy. Now that the genocide in Palestine is happening I don’t know how anyone has the will to care about what is happening in Ukraine, Ukraine also supports this genocide so that deprives them of any right to sympathy to any not racist human. I think White people liked getting to play victim for once and good for you but play time is over

How should progressives handle free speech ? I am just going to be getting down to brass tacks here, free speech has always been a losing issue for progressives with progressives supporting more restriction then the average person. So should we just support free speech out of pragmatism ? If not how do we sell it to the masses

I don’t get this, the only argument is the like Austrian school taxation is theft argument but in that case all the taxes that income tax haters like are also just as much theft. You see a new article every week about why we need to get rid of income tax and replace it with some asinine “progressive consumption tax” that allows for poor people to write some stuff off but not other stuff its a mess. every inane over complicated solution always runs into either not making enough, being to expensive to enforce and calculate or being regressive even in Europe which comes the closest to this with the use of vats but income tax is still their main cash cow this is a solution in search of a problem income tax works, economist agree when done right (as in you don’t raise income tax 50% in a day)it has the least distortion, it’s easy to collect and raises massive revenue

So the fall of the alt right is more important then it seems, it was the defeat of organized White identity politic that we have not seen before or sense. Yes the right wing has re surged under Trump with new found patronage from powerful people but organized Whiteness has been thoroughly defeated. The new wave of the right is very racially agnostic with many of its big names being POC. If you watch Jreg he coined this “multi racial fascism”
