My savings peeked back up over 2k for the first time in two years recently, that's kinda neat

I saved up hard for my trip to Japan and then went to Japan and.... Spent all of it. Since then I got a credit card because it was really scary to go from having a few thousand set aside that I could dip into and repay if an emergency happened to... Not having that.

Now I've got some measure of it back! Go figure that getting a push-bike instead of a car would be my wisest financial decision ever.
