Ok wait… Can I use AI to change clickbait headlines into actual summaries of articles, without hyperbole, or people getting “slammed”? I am sure googles goal is only to create more clickbait, but if there was a way to do the opposite, that would be the first good use of AI I’ve seen.

You can add warning labels to everything. You can put in as many safety features as you want. You can restrict children and mentally challenged individuals from harmful sites and activities. You can try to add guard rails to everything you can think of.

I really liked the first 80% of Firewatch. The last 20% though… I guess I didn’t hate it, but I also really didn’t like the switch in tone. Without giving spoilers, the ending left me feeling kind of disappointed with how normal it was. I remember finishing the game and immediately going to look if there was an alternative ending, because certainly the game wouldn’t just end like… That.

Like, imagine working on a big murder mystery where a man was found dead inside a locked room with no windows. You gather tons of clues, interview countless people searching for a motive, spend a lot of time putting together all the clues and… It turns out he simply tripped and hit his head.

Like, there’s still a mystery. There’s still a good story. It’s not even a really bad ending, it’s just not nearly as exciting as where you thought it would lead.

I’d like to give a sincere apology to every Russian I judged based on the actions of their country. Until the last few years, I truly did not appreciate the muted hell you were all living in, as well as the deep sense of apathy that comes from decades of watching things continue to get shittier and more corrupt while incompetence and propaganda crush every movement that tries to stop it.

They don’t talk about that kind of shit. They talk about sports. They talk about their next family vacation. They talk about what new things they’ve bought and how kids today are lazy. That’s as far as it goes. When they are confronted with facts, they wave them away because obviously it’s all just an overreaction and both sides are bad, so who cares? If it was something REALLY bad, then they would have heard about it, right? Anyways, stop trying to make people upset, we’re trying to watch Sports Center.

These people are so fucking clueless and are actively avoiding talking about or hearing anything negative. They have convinced themselves that any and all criticism as just meaningless complaints from angry leftists with TDS.
