This is unfortunate for Indie Game devs too since I suspect deck owners will be more likely to purchase lesser known titles on the cheap.
I definitely have been buying more indie games since my deck has been my main gaming rig. I don’t have to worry about framerates dropping and many are deck certified which makes it easier to take a chance.
That’s how all the politicians and authority figures have been acting it’s becaus reality is he doesn’t control his gang (the MPD).
His gang supports this shit but he’s the public face of the gang and has to act like they aren’t loving all of this. Mind you this is the same police force that kicked of BLM because of murdering a civilian.
They don’t give a shit about human life and this is just fucking theater.
How convenient this decision was supposedly made prior to the decision to unionize and is related to only financial issues.
I bet they are always discussing what studios to cut or downsize in case of “economic downturns” or “failing to meet quarterly projections” so they can’t be accused of union-busting or retaliation.
I think we need to learn more about the union movement in Canada and US. People fought and died over these rights. Companies and governments forgot unions were the agreement we made to not drag their asses out in the streets and beat their asses.
It would do those in power to remember this compromise because we are getting ripe for another wave of work reform.
She said the quiet part out loud with regards to universal healthcare - it makes it too easier for us plebs to change jobs.
Tying healthcare to a job takes away leverage and negotiating power from the employee.
The article states that the rumor would be Asus gets production lines up and running by end of Q2 of 2026 (typically that would be end of June for most companies).
They do have experience in manufacturing already and RAM isn’t as difficult to produce as say 14nm cpus.
I do think it’s an ambitious timeline though if the rumor is to be believed. The article does say to take it with a grain of salt.
After Gamer Nexus did their excellent piece on Asus and their frustrating RMA process I am wary of hardware from Asus, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Especially after Micron’s decision to pull from the consumer RAM market. We need companies to step up to the plate.
