As a child of parents who grew up in Nazi Germany, *I* grew up with the conviction that entire societies can go insane. There are other examples: the Cultural Revolution. Big parts of the West around 1968. US reaction to Covid.

Technically, I suppose it’s “enough of a society that future generations will ask ‘so what the hell was going on to account for <perplexing mass behavior>?’”

Also known as St. Vitus' Dance, this mass psychosis affected large groups of adults and children, sometimes thousands at a time, who danced erratically until they collapsed, and sometimes died. @jasonmashak I think Kravitz’ songs are just so-so. But he is a phenomenal performer and technician.

When he plays his songs, they’re amazing. But it also makes him impossible to cover without losing a lot of quality. He’s one of a kind.
