I can’t see movies in theaters anymore bc my hearing loss got bad enough I need closed captioning for everything. Having them available in any language also, that’d be amazing. I can’t think how to do it without like personal goggles or something that privately display them - I’ve had ppl practically curse me out for using closed captioning on a TV. Like it bugs them that much. Like their handicap is focus-related or something, not hearing loss-related

As someone who was too deaf to hear one professor even when sitting in the front row bc of the acoustics in that room, if there had been a way to read the lecture I would have taken it. That can be done with a printed copy tho, no need for a laptop
