Friends are so great. Meaningful friends. I don't see all of my greatest friends anymore, but it is okay. They were so meaningful to me. That is most important.
It helps me regret nothing. If I ever find myself regretting a past life decision, I am reminded by the meaningful friends I have made that it was worth it.

I back that last post so hard. It is far worse in public. If you feel alienated and uncomfortable when someone speaks a language you do not understand near you, then get over it. Your insecurity over something so trivial is not as important as allowing a person to express their thoughts in any way they need. And if you are American, never forget that English is an import.
