I’m wondering if I have a similar issue, as outside streaming services seem to stream okay. I haven’t really found a root cause yet. I will probably test some secondary routers or extenders.
That’s exactly what I was wondering. I will start digging through the logs. Thank you!
I will test this out. Thank you!
I will check it out and see if I can find one. Thank you!
Help troubleshooting stuttering - Lemmy.World
I’ve had my server running for over a year and it’s been fantastic until last
week. Suddenly, I’m having a lot of issues playing certain titles on certain
devices, but none of it really makes sense to me. Here’s what I know: I have two
Roku TVs in separate rooms. Both are nearly identical models (and support the
same codecs). One is directly connected to the server and the other uses a power
line adapter or WiFi. The direct connection does not stutter when playing
anything so far. The other tv is nearly unplayable with stuttering. My first
thought was a network issue, but other apps (Netflix, etc) play just fine. I
then thought it was transcoding ( I use QSV), but it doesn’t make sense that the
DC tv doesn’t have the same issue. Other devices which connect over WiFi also
have the same issue. Is there some way to tell through the logs if jellyfin is
actively transcoding or failing to serve media in real-time? Or any other steps
I could take to troubleshoot the root cause of my issues. Thanks in advance!
The population of livestock is artificially high because of meat industries. Additionally, all animals in a meat producing farm will be killed already. That’s the entire purpose. Simply slowing the reproductive rate of the industry would reduce the populations on a fairly short timeline. I’m a meat eater myself, but using the killing of animals as an argument AGAINST slowing meat production is not very logical.
The sync conflict / corruption is what worries me. Currently I just export a copy as a backup but it’s all done manually and not on a schedule.

Password Manager that supports multiple databases/syncing? - Lemmy.World
I currently use keePass, and use it on both my PC and my phone. I like it
because I can keep a copy of my DB on my phone and export it through a few
different means. But I can’t seem to find an option to actually sync my local DB
against a remote one. I’ve thought about switching to BitWarden but from what I
can see it uses a single DB with multiple connections. Is there a password
manager that allows ultiple databases (one PC one Phone) with easy syncing
between them - specifically from my phone? Or a way to setup keePass to allow
syncing with a machine on my home network?
Soundtrack Tunes - Lemmy.World
Watching the new episodes, I noticed the track of “Relax” is a remix of the old
shaker tune “Simple Gifts.” Is this a common thing or is most of the soundtrack
original music?
What content are you acquiring from their service if you get it somewhere else? If what they’re selling is service, not content, then getting the content elsewhere doesn’t affect them, right?
