So, TL;DR: lost most of my hardware.

Over the weekend, I received a free Mac Mini early 2009 / "3,1".

This only goes to Mac OS X 10.11. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS#Software_compatibility shows it being 3 years out of date, and counting.

Would FreeBSD or OpenBSD be a better call, in your opinion? Main needs:
General Purpose Desktop, and Audio Recording through a USB 'ART TubeMP' interface.

My guess is FreeBSD, but I figured I would check for input first. Thanks!

Does knowing that make the Nordic people colloquially called 'Vikings' into SJWs? Having multiple warrior goddesses?

Just as today, the majority of the pantheon is/was male-centric. Many of the most vital roles, however, were female-centric.

If *they* can share the spotlight with women, how weak and cowardly does that make the 'Modern Man'?

Sigh. This morning, I have 24 videos from the premier or talking about it, in my sub feed on that tubular thing.

I also have *another* 10 whining about SJWs and the destruction of America, Society, masculinity worldwide, and childhoods.

It must be so difficult, knowing that a movie exists, and is getting attention when it stars and co-stars people who doesn't look or act like you, but a villain who does.

How dare a movie have a generic white-male bad-guy?

Why are there no Angostura flavored candies? To me, it tastes somewhere between fermented grapefruit peel and fermented shoe-leather, but . . . damn, it really wakes-up a vodka-lemon, or bourbon . . . Was incredible on my potato-sausage soup. Thinking of trying it on eggs tomorrow.

Is there an issue with xdm on FreeBSD 12-Release?
My DDG-jitsu is failing me. I found some mentions about using tty8, but not if there's a workaround or anything. So I don't know if my jitsu is failing, or if there's just an issue . . .

With all of the hardware and compatibility issues I've had, especially recently, I feel both amused in a weird schadenfreude sort of way, and like I want to try sending him some bourbon and maybe flowers or something in sympathy.

Chris Titus Tech is having "fun" with streaming the install of Old Faithful Debian . . . 77 minutes in, and he's re-downloading the install media.

I feel a little bad for him trying to use new tech like nvme with it. He looks on the verge of tears, or at least FML.
