I love history but am not a historian. Instead I am an autistic and dyspraxic lady who cares about disability rights, childrens rights, human rights, and lots of other things. Also like art, photography and nature.
My#duolingo sentence of the day ‘The elephant visited the Buffalo’. Can anyone guess why #Duolingo course this phrase came from?
@Curator would love to join thr mastodon art server knowing how much care that you and others take to looking after this community. Is there a sign up link?
Something of an alien #landscape vibe here. But what is it?

Calling it the International Day of Disabled People is the right thing to do, despite the official title being International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Don't let anyone criticise you for doing so (it happened to me last year!) because the significance of the language of disability we use is more important than an official name. We're disabled. I'm disabled. I don't 'have' disabilities. That's not how the social model works. #IDDP #IDPwD
Drawn my first #bird today on my iPad from a beginners art book but using procreate software it is meant to be a blue tit. My result isn’t as good as the books but has some additional features #art #beginnersart #mastoart. Hope bird lovers aren’t too offended.
#satyrday #SillyCuratorPrompts @Curator my second attempt at drawing a satyr has produced a more disturbing image
#SillyCuratorPrompts #satyrday as you can see @Curator i have no idea what a Satyr looks like or how to draw one. This one though is in the Greek underworld. And yes almost any 5 year old could have done a better job than this,
@iNSiG9FiX also just to explain autism is not an illness, there is no onset of symptoms. Children are born autistic, it is a neurological difference.
@iNSiG9FiX I think, no insult or offense intended you are not a native English speaker so you may not have realised that the word infantile can cause offence , the word infantile to native English speakers is almost always negative. Child or childhood is better. The word infant is fine but infantile tends to be an insult.
