The GOP is not a serious political party and every day the media continues to treat them as such is a day too long.
Today in the archive I found a 57-page manifesto written in 1993 by a Christian Nationalist conservative from Southern Oregon. It was intended to be a campaign document for their run for OR Governor as an independent in 1994. Like Walter Huss, the person they sent this document to, the author felt like the Republican Party under GHWB had left them, become too liberal in its effort to court a more "diverse" electorate. This "independent" is still alive and you'll never guess his politics today.
I’ve been dabbling here and a few other places trying to find a new home, so it’s probably about time I start posting a bit. I’m an amateur nature photographer usually found wandering around looking for birds.

For my #WaterfallWednesday contribution I dug up this photo from 2017 from #oregon. I wish I could remember the name of the falls but we didn’t plan the stop, we just pulled over at a lovely park to walk the dog and after a damp hike came upon this beauty.
