I was watching this video on Idubbbz’s rise and fall
[https://youtu.be/Srx7P_A_wfA] and it got me thinking about the Content Cop he
made against H3H3. As far as I could see, the Content Cop and Content Deputy
generally hammered home accurately how much of a royal piece of shit Ethan Klein
and his former IDF wife have become. It really should have been an easy slam
dunk as H3H3 is so easily provably wrong on so many issues regarding Israel and
the genocide in Palestine, as well as the countless controversies Ethan Kelin
and Hila Klein have publicly gone through. However, it appears that Idubbbz
totally lost this fued, not because of his arguments against H3H3, but because
those were totally overshadowed by his own extraordinary controversies and
greed, as well as seemingly using the genocide in Palestine as a backdrop to his
fued with H3H3, which feels very exploitative. It got me wondering, what are
some other instances of public figures who were totally in the right on an
issue, but lost due to other, tangentially or totally unrelated issues?

If they loved you, if they truly cared about you, would they have not put in any
basic research whatsoever as to how harmful MAGA is to you? If they truly
accepted you for who you are, why would they gleefully vote for the movement
that says you, at best, must be a slave to the rich, or at worst, in a
concentration camp? If they truly were trustworthy, why would they support the
establishment of a Gestapo that is targeting all that oppose dear leader? If it
truly was just ignorance, not malice, then why do they so fervently remain
hostile to the truth so easily available to them about the monsters they’ve
supported? It is pathetic to see so many leftists become fascism apologists when
it comes to their parents, their grandparents, their siblings, their friends,
etc. These people voted to build the 4the Reich and commit genocide both abroad
and at home. Why the fuck would anyone think they could actually love you? What
“love” they’ve ever had for you or anyone else was always overshadowed by their
hate for everyone else. And if you’re a part of the demographics they hate, the
reality is they ultimately hate who you truly are, and this country burning
right now is their ultimatum to you to abandon yourself for them. No one should
remain in contact with these people whenever avoidable. They should be socially
isolated for their evil. Refusing to cut ties when possible is continuing to
award their atrocities.

I often see a lot of praise of Tito for successfully keeping the various ethnic
groups of Yugoslavia at peace throughout his tenure, and thus keeping Yugoslavia
together. However, isn’t one’s success greatly determined by their legacy, and
what they left behind when they died? The country blew up, fractured into
genocidal conflict and lost some the best parts of their socialism. It seems
more that Tito didn’t actually fix Yugoslavia’s underlying ethnic conflicts, but
rather successfully swept them under the rug during his tenor.
