So, building the mask was actually pretty simple, I just chose to take on a project in stressful times, it could probably be done in a day if you had all the stuff.
The Stuff:
1 UVEX Bionic face shield (other face protection is available, I just liked the look of this one)
1 replacement face shield, shade 5.0 (the gear came with a clear shield, which isn't ideal)
2 Flex LED Matrixes from Lumen Couture (other LED solutions are available, these seemed simple to use, and were)
Spray paint (to taste (don't taste spray paint))
Painters Tape
Electrical tape
Past that, it was mostly just attaching the bits together. Removed the visor, painted the helmet to my satisfaction. Marked out where the LEDs were safe to attach on the clear visor, then used that as a guide to tape them to the inside of the shaded visor, and taped the battery packs to the opaque bits of the mask.
All together the materials were about 140 bucks (a friend kindly helped pay for them), everything else was just fucking with the app.
