A huge victory for the Standing Rock Sioux tribe of North Dakota ... sued the US government in a campaign to stop the environmentally risky pipeline being built on tribal lands.

The US army corps of engineers was ordered to conduct a full environmental impact statement (EIS), after the Washington DC court ruled that existing permits violated the National Environmental Policy Act (Nepa) ... which could take years!

The Daytona 500 was postponed by rain for the first time since 2012, and Ryan Newman suffered a head injury,  and there's no timetable for his return to NASCAR racing. Trump tweeted that he is praying for Mr Newman. I wish he wouldn't.
