So maybe Oregon, or rather Portland metro area, should consider to make a referendum for independence from federal government. The national flag should be the beaver one, of course.

@agnes I still don't get it when people are talking like "Mastodon as a whole should be like this or that", I think the core of this distributed system is that you can choose freely how much being open to the public or private, on your discretion? I might misunderstand something though

I've been a (rather lazy, but consistent) fan of The White Stripes and Jack White since I was just a Japanese grumpy high schooler. I saw his shows in Osaka, Prague and Portland - and felt kinda sad he didn't play Loretta Lynn's Portland, Oregon in Moda Center last year. Someone on IG told me he actually was playing it every time when he had gigs in pdx until some years ago. I wish I could have been there!!
