Here's my email as an example (I often think of switching to more console based apps though - so I might end up with 4/6 terms per screen eventually but that doesn't solve things like web browser or video editing) there is loads of wasted space but none if it is really recoverable in a useful way. Not the font is already rather close to too small for me as well.
