Thank You Leighton for taking some time out of your busy schedule to catch up with me before I go back to Brisbane. After I finished my book signing at the Kirwan Post Office, we went and had lunch at Balabite. I had a bowl of Hummus with chicken. It was delicious. I will definitely be ordering it again the next time I go back. It reminded me of the way my brother Damien makes Chicken Marsala.

What a day. A big thanks to Llian and Tim for having us at Newfarm Editions today. We ended up selling 29 books today. So the last two times we were there we sold 60. Great spot! And talk about a small world... Met this lovely lady, Susie Grant from Dalby, who just happens to be neighbours to our cousin Julian and she knows our uncle John. We were excited that she bought both our books and that she is taking them back to Dalby with her. Managed to get a selfie of her too. Thanks Susie. Also took a selfie with another happy customer, Billy, a former Norths Devil.

Damien and I just came home from doing another book signing at Dymocks Indooroopilly. We had a GREAT day today. We stayed until 4pm and managed to sell 43 of the store's 60 copies they had of both of our books in total; we sold 23 copies of The Babysitter and 20 copies of Triz Destroys the Sun. We met some more amazing people. I'm standing next to Donovan.

Thanks to Olwyn and the wonderful staff for having us at Dymocks in the Queen St Mall today. It was a bit of a slow day today but I'm happy to report that we still managed to sell 8 books; 3 of the Baby Sitter and 5 of Triz Destroys the Sun. We met some more AMAZING people.

A big thank you to Julie and the team at Scrumptious Reads, for hosting us on Saturday, for our first ever reading with our “Giant Book”. It was a huge hit with the kids; they absolutely loved it. It was great to meet other artists too, who were displaying and selling their works as well. We look forward to seeing you all again. And if you missed us this week, we will be at Dymocks in the Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, on Saturday 18th October, between 10am and 2pm, for a book signing.
