Sync read posts between desktop/app - Lemmy.world
So, prior to being on Lemmy I used to use old.reddit.com [http://old.reddit.com]
(with reddit gold) and sync for reddit. If I read a post on the desktop version
of the site, it would mark it as read on the app as well. Is there anyway to do
this on Lemmy? I imagine it is something that hasn’t been implemented yet, but I
thought I would ask.
Traefik for idiots? - Lemmy.world
Does anyone have a guide to Traefik for an absolute idiot (myself)? I was able
to get a freshrss server running using dockercompose
[https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS/blob/edge/Docker/README.md] and was able
to connect to it on my local network, but all the guides I read said I NEED to
have a reverse proxy before I access it remotely. This is probably my sign I
need to actually learn how to use docker instead of being lazy as hell and
copy/pasting code, but I thought I’d ask.

So, now that we’re off Reddit and I don’t have to worry about being shadowbanned
for bringing up a topic I didn’t even know was taboo, what are some things that
happened on Reddit that we couldn’t talk about on Reddit? For example, the whole
Aimee Challenor fiasco
[https://www.newsweek.com/reddit-aimee-knight-challenor-fired-hundreds-subreddits-private-protest-1578657]
where even saying their name got you banned.
