Today is my fourth anniversary as ED of PEN/Faulkner. It's also exactly eight years since we launched the New Play Exchange.

I have a lot to celebrate!

The GOP voting to elect a speaker = rioters deciding who gets to hold the bullhorn.
Troubling and brutal financial woes at the Met #Opera as it withdraws $30 million from its endowment to cover #pandemic losses and cuts number of performances next season. “The prospect of a recession next year is further rattling #arts groups and raising fears that weak attendance could extend into next season and beyond. This has been a pretty good year for me. My co-author and I have managed to publish a dozen articles and write about half a book, all while holding down demanding jobs. To celebrate, I'm sharing some of our work, starting with this piece on Randy Rainbow.
