If what they say about AI is true, then the States are in a much hotter mess than I thought.
Rate limits on #JUNOS Fusion Architecture, am I right? 🤦🏼‍♂️
I need to get good at the Open Source LLMs, but for now I am trying out #Claude. Already, I'm like O_o. What was I doing with #ChatGPT...honestly...
I want to believe that AI is not an inevitability, that humanity will prevail and cooler heads will win, but...when I have to deal with the intricate, social dance of human interaction to get things done, I just....Sigh....
These last few days have really got me seeing AI in a new light. I’m increasingly worried about where we end 2026 😔
Wireshark packet captures get large fast O_O

Whelp, I have switched back for now....Perhaps when Gemini comes out with the UI update that has been rumored I will try again.

So....I been using #Gemini for a while and, while I do think that it is better at answering in a format that I like, the inability to keep a list of those chats without getting a work account (actually a bit cheaper) or giving up all of my conversations to be trained on is frustrating to say the least. Not to mention not being able to take advantage of Live (bugged on iOS for some reason).

I hate to say it, but I think I prefer the interactivity that #ChatGPT provides without the need for my data. I mean, let's be real, they are using it, I'm sure, but...yeah.

Thoughts?

Okay, so….I waaaaaaant to use #Gemini, but the fact that, even with a paid personal account, you can’t get any of the useful things (chat tabs, app integration, etc.) without allowing them to train on your data is ridiculous.

I don’t hate #ChatGPT, but I just….trust Dennis Hassabis more, tbh..

Any advice on Coursera courses regarding #NetworkEngineering that have been helpful? Preparing to move back Stateside from Japan and wanting to skill-up a bit before the move.
