@carnage4life I think it depends on perspective. Augmentation for one person is automation in another. The example of traffic lights: yes, we could employ experts to direct traffic. We could employ people to stand every ten feet on the road and maintain separation instead of using paint. Technologies like paint, road signs instead of helpful people you could ask questions of, traffic lights, and do on greatly augment the ability of any transport worker to do their jobs.
@gregeganSF Thanks for the pointers!
@AirmindedAI ah nice! I am playing around with MJ. Not such nice results but really fun!
@AirmindedAI is the caption one you put in the prompt or these are guiding intentions and the prompt is what's in the alt text? The images you're posting are really wonderful and evocative!
@jeffjarvis how much of NYT criticism just fuels this dissatisfaction? Meaning, other papers must be printing equally unsatisfactory headlines, why amplify the Times? Wouldn't it be better to engage more evenly or maybe even preferentially, with other outlets?
@ceperez can you say more about the background you see missing?
@ceperez so the right hemisphere here is something like a physical/grounded "map" that learns to do the job of constraining the symbol/representation system?
@AngelaPreston they taste really good! Steamed and cold are nice
@f how are you making prompts for these? Excerpts?
