took a commission for a stained glass window three weeks ago. The unglamorous parts (mudding and polishing) remain but it seems to have come out ok.
For everyone who was thinking that bread day is not a real day, you are wrong and I have receipts.
I love my hobby of integrating stained glass into mirrors (example below). I hate that my hobby requires me monitoring thrift stores for months to find mirrors (and frames) in desirable shapes at reasonable prices.

This was about 6 hours working with simple 3d software. I plan to print in black and finish with a brass paint and then several coats of polyurethane.

In 1950 Alan Turing asserted that the test of AI would be if you could carry on a conversation with it and not realize it was a computer (i.e. the "Turing test").

For AI generated art, I think I have a better test. Ask an artist to draw "tom hanks as an owl" I'm not sure how a human artist would tackle this task, but I'm reasonably sure this is not it:
