Official - keep out of the sea at Blackpool
Blackpool is one of the UK’s holiday hotspots but water quality is so low that people are often advised to keep out of the water. Although it’s one of the worst of the UK’s designated bathing waters it’s sadly typical of many other beaches, rivers and water courses that are not regularly monitored. Does the focus on designated bathing locations mean that problems are ignored everywhere else?
