@pbump sorry, simply is a drop in the bucket.

I haven’t read, did Fox or Newscorp have insurance? Many corporations do carry various forms of liability insurance. Not sure if there is insurance for media companies for this type of situation?

@slessans2 definitely better than UTZ.
@scottjshapiro are you kidding?
@juddlegum I this good discourse.
@lauren I have a feeling the last sentence of this post is reflective of the situation.
@mastodonmigration @taylorlorenz I’d like to read more on the implications of this for advertisers.
@dankennedy_nu I think the logic is: when he plays basketball he’s pretty good.
@greg Deshaun is at $46 though.

@andrewdessler this isn’t the full story.

First, it’s field corn that’s primarily used for ethanol and feed. It’s not sweet corn, which humans consume directly.

Second - corn used for ethanol has two co-products. The corn starch is converted to ethanol with the corn fat (oil) and corn protein being the co-products.

Co-products go into feed and other uses.

Be mindful the oil lobby has a stake in many anti-ethanol stories.

The situation isn’t quite so cut and dried.
