I beleive the Ukrainian government said something along the lines of “we’re willing to negotiate as long as there are assurances of support should Russia resume invading” and were told they would get no auch assurance from the US…

a) european countries should put boots on the ground
b) a country should stop their defence with no 3rd party guarantees of protection should promises get broken

What it criticizes is “if you participate in a thing you are told you may not criticize the thing” to help people remember that sometimes you must participate in a subpar thing based on circumstances, but exercise your freedoms to criticise, contribute and seek continuous improvement in circumstances and things.

There are a number of food programs, including charities that recognize some kids starve over the summer when kids are not in school. E.g. the food banks Canada after the bell program.

So take the time to reflect on 1- your right to feed your kids is not impacted, these programs are for kids who have no food, but you can still provide your own meals
2- without these programs some children starve
3- is there any possible argument that supports the outcome where some kids starve.
