John Mastodon was dead

And showers began to fall
John Mastodon got up again
And did surprise them all...

You've got to be a special type of stupid to think the richest man on earth bought Twitter to join the fight on the side of you, the little guy, in a battle against the scary Goliath comprised of journalists who can barely afford the rent on their apartments.
What I really need is James O'Brien and all the Guardian journalists to move onto here and then I can probably leave the birdsite for good. #riptwitter
Musk has used "Vox populi, Vox Dei" to justify reinstating Trump on #Twiiter. But the quote is from a letter from Alcuin to the Emporer Charlemagne urging him to resist such ideas, "Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, Vox populi, vox Dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit." Which translates as "And do not listen to those who keep saying, 'The voice of the people is the voice of God', because the tumult of the crowd is always close to madness."
