I am a noob sysadmin, (mostly web-)developer, Linux addict and retarded minimalist from Germany.

I recently got the early bird version of @hund @iokeyboards new 65% ISO, hotswap, RGB underglow PCB.

Although it being an early adopter model I have to say that it is already really matured! Everything worked out of the box; the soldering joints of the components are all perfect and the hotswap doesn't feel flimsy at all!

It is a perfect board for newcomers and tinkerers who don't like the awkward and time consuming process of (de-)soldering their switches!

@ob @amolith Probably! I will dig a bit deeper when I have some spare time :)
@amolith That is a great starting point! :)
But I don’t want to recompile all the time which is quite time consuming.
With Android studio you compile a dev version of the apk once and then you can make changes to your code and let the app change in a matter of seconds without a recompilation.

@amolith While I agree that Android Studio is one of the most bloated things out there. I still see a disadvantage using this alternative way though. With Android studio you can write your code, save the file and get to see the changes almost instantly without the need to recompile the whole app :).

I have to take a look at how this life updating works. Maybe I can write a quick and dirty script to replicate that behavior.

@dethos Google has mentioned Covid-19 on YT. They should delete YT!

This is hilarious.

@hund I like that it has a Great philosophy about package management: "You get what you asked for" unlike arch for example it does only install the program with the features you’ve asked for. If you don’t ask for a gtk or qt support the package won’t ship with it (no GUI). That philosophy keeps unnecessary dependencies and package size down :)
@d_pechkin Dad please kill me.
@kelbot only three? ;)
@null0x0 @hund Same here with my internet :(. I'd instantly host @home if I had a reliable connection.
