Happy Boxing Day!

There are just so many bugs around at the minute.

It's reminded Margaret of the 1980s, when she would pick up a bug everytime she visited anywhere.

Margaret says, if you're having a toy day at the end of term, remind your children of some basic rules:
1. Nothing with batteries (eg Speak & Spell).
2. Nothing noisy (especially Hungry Hippos).
3. Nothing with too many parts (ie Mousetrap).
4. Etch a Sketch is a safe bet.

If things are tough in school right now, please try not to worry. This is the time of year when the Government usually pledges to bring in military support.

Margaret is very much looking forward to it.

Match of the Day:
If you're struggling to know what to ask Father Christmas for this year, why not have a browse through an Action Man or Sindy catalogue?
Maths texts books?
Things really Peaked in the 80s.

A new week!

Margaret's been offered three days teaching Year 1. She's agreed to work today and tomorrow but she's having her hair done on Wednesday.
I've got a day with Yr 7 & 8.

Apparently, there's a football match on later. I'm assuming they'll be wheeling out the big TV...

Sunday Praise!

This week, Margaret and I would like to say a great big "THANK YOU!"and send our very best wishes to everyone who is feeling fatigued, run down, worried or unwell.

We have a tendency to dig deep and plod on but it's important that we look after ourselves too.

There is only one of you!
