Maybe I'm being selfish. Maybe I'm being ignorant of the underlying issue and don't understand the deeper ramifications or whatever. But I'm just so so tired of this song and dance. Agree to disagree should not be discouraged. At least up to a certain point. And I don't think getting upset over Harry Potter of all things is that point even if I hate it.
I'm just sick of friends pushing everyone away for the most minuscule of things. I know LGBT rights are not minuscule. I get it. The thing is when you look for any excuse you can to push people away, or to run away from people instead of just talking it out, you're not helping your case at all.
I'm probably going to get flak for playing the "Both sides" card. But honestly. I just want my friends to stop picking fights with eachother at the drop of a hat.

I repeat: I hate harry potter and have no desire to play this nor give any money to JellyKramp Rectum. However I have a friend who likes the franchise despite knowing full well it's owned by a hideous baboon monster, I have another friend who is transgendered who insists nobody play the game and support the fascism Potterfriend says Transfriend is being kind of toxic and forcing an ultimatum unto people.

Then there's me. Stuck in the middle. Not wanting anymore fighting.

So to establish as we all know. JK Rowling is a TERF (Trans exclusion radical feminist or something along those lines), and for a while now has been supporting fascist movements to silence and kill transgendered people. Harry Potter is her contribution to society, and it's getting a shitty MMO made. So if you buy it you're supporting genocide and blah blah blah you get the idea.
Just so we're clear here: I fucking hate Harry Potter. Always have. Eversince middle school. And while I could feel smug knowing that JK Rowling has devolved into bigoted right wing cave troll with shithair, I am actually quite depressed because this topic has become an apple of discord among my friends, and boy oh boy do I never get tired of those (I do. Give me a moment...)
It's been a while since I left the shouting battle royal scene that is twitter and I couldn't be happier for it. Especially after dealing with my aunt passing away on christmas eve, and coincidentally everybody getting up in arms about her favorite thing ever: Harry Potter.
I mean okay fine! You want to experience the game blind...But consider: Obtaining certain pokemon are not a simple case of leveling up. How is this information a spoiler and how does it affect your experience?
Can we like...stop treating pokemon evolutions like they're major spoilers? It's not technically part of the story and usually gets leaked anyway, so why do people get so anal about evolutions?
