NGC 6229 is a globular cluster in Hercules, in the shadow of its famous brothers M13 & M92. It is an intermediate-metallicity globular cluster with 2 distinct generations of stars. A good target for short northern summer nights. http://bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

NGC4631 is a star burst galaxy exibiting considerable Halpha emission. NGC 4631 has a partner, the dwarf elliptical NGC 4627, and Chip Arp lists this pair as object 281 ("double galaxy" or a galaxy pair) in his famous catalogue. http://bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography

Messier 92 is a bright globular cluster in Hercules. It is only slightly less bright than the famous M13. M92 is one of the oldest globular clusters and features a fairly low metal content, about 0.5% of that of the Sun. http://bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography 🔭📷

Arp 269 is a quite interesting interacting galaxy pair consisting of NGC 4490 (aka the Cocoon Galaxy) and NGC4485. chip Arp categorized this pair as "double or multiple galaxies with connected arms".
