I often crop my photos in an effort to make them more abstract/composed/whatever but that means I sometimes can't even remember what it was a photo of to begin with.

I started looking through uncropped versions of photos and thought it was interesting to see how they started and how they ended up, so I figured I'd share some examples.

These are all color to black and white because they show the biggest difference from start to finish.

@Alice
HAHAHAHA.
Kind of like using your phone’s flashlight to look for your phone.

Why metadata is useful:

You phone company knows you got all call from a sexual health clinic and then rang your doctor, your spouse and somebody that you only text after 22:00, but they have no idea what the content of your conversations was.

Facebook/Meta keeps all of your WhatsApp metadata and uses GPS to try to figure out your real life meetings.

Me: ok air conditioner, it’s gonna be tough week. I believe in you. We’re going to have to work hard, but together we’ll make it
A/C: what if, instead of that, I leak water through your floor, warp some boards, ruin the paint, and cost you $600 for an emergency plumber at around 10 tonight

Very important kitty business
I'm super excited to finally have my Geodesic Dome project complete. It's now a cosy study space at my University Library, perfect for winter study. It's made from upcycled cardboard from TV boxes and corflute from local election signage, and held together with zipties and tarp eyelets. To make the design, I 3D modelled it in Rhino software with the Polyhedra plugin, then put the model into Pepakura papercraft software to create paper templates that were then hand cut (alas, no laser cutter!)
Here's a video of the dome with more angles and build progress:
"A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy: he does not buy cars and does not borrow money to buy. He does not pay for insurance policies. He does not buy fuel, does not pay for the necessary maintenance and repairs. He does not use paid parking. He does not cause serious accidents. He does not require multi-lane highways. He does not get fat.
Healthy people are neither needed nor useful for the economy. They don't buy medicine. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. Nothing is added to the country's GDP (gross domestic product).
On the contrary, every new McDonald's restaurant creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 dietary experts and nutritionists, and obviously, people who work at the restaurant itself."
Choose carefully: cyclist or McDonald's? It is worth considering.
P.S. Walking is even worse. Pedestrians don't even buy bicycles.
P.P.S. If you have read this far and still don't get it, this post is SATIRE. Reread it with this in mind.
