We know – it's been a while. We are preparing the next beta 🧑‍💻 and wanted to share some updates.

GPG Suite will include MacGPG 2.4 and the default in GPG Keychain will finally be ECC keys.

If you want to take a peek at those latest changes in GPG Suite hop over and download the latest nightly build:

We'd love to hear your feedback, especially if you are on latest macOS Sequoia, as there have been a few changes also on Apples side to address some of the known issues we reported.

GPG Suite Hotfix

Hello world, this is the #OpenPGP #keyserver service at https://keys.openpgp.org!

This account provides a low-volume channel for updates about the service.

PSA: There was an issue with https://keys.openpgp.org/ in the past days where key retrieval in GPG Keychain wasn't functional. Firefox was also affected and public keys were not delivered.

The problem was just resolved and key retrieval is functional and back to normal 🙌

Shoutout to @Valodim for taking a thorough look and not giving up easily.

🔒 macOS Sonoma + GPG Mail

Apple has dropped support for macOS Mail plugins, such as GPG Mail, in macOS Sonoma. If you rely on our OpenPGP integration for your daily work, please refrain from upgrading to macOS Sonoma at this time. As a replacement Apple introduced "Mail Extensions". For GPG Mail however, some very important functionality is still missing from the Mail Extensions API which will not be available before the first update of #macOS #Sonoma.
